Go to gate
Congratulations! you're all set for a great time, you've chosen your destination and received your booking conformation. However there are a few final things to cross of your check list before you travel.......
We want you to have a fantastic trouble free time whilst your away so here are a few last considerations to ensure you avoid any complications or dissapointments before and during your holiday. Many on the list appear obvious but from our experience people do still overlook them from time to time.
Finaly dont forget to apply this to everyone in your group! the last thing you need is for one of your group to be unable to travel.
Check List
- Passport: Yes its obvious; but make sure it's in date. Always check you have more than 6 months left before expiry for any major travel.
- Paperwork: You ain't goin very far if you haven't got your plane tickets or eservation number! Similary, have you got travel insurance? Is it in date? Does it cover watersports?
- Money / Currency: Always ensure you organise this before the day of departure - it can be expensive to change money at the airport. Remember, some more remote destinations may not have the facilty to change travellers cheques.
- Relevent Visas: Depending on your nationality you may need extra paperwork.
- Vaccinations: If travelling outside Europe check the recommendations for that destination with your GP; you may need injections for up to two months before travel.
- Surfboards: If you are taking your own board, pre-book with the airline as it will save you lots of hassle at the check in desk. Pool boards together in one bag to avoid being overcharged and don't forget to ensure they are well protected when packing to avoid any damage.
- Clothing: Make sure you've got suitable surf wear for your location. Is it boardshorts / bikini or wetsuit?.
- Extras: Again; it may be stating the obvious but people do forget! In some locations you might not be able to purchase certain items such as medications, sun creams and so on. It's always a good idea to take a mini first aid kit with you.
Thank you and happy travelling from all at Endless Surf Adventures.
