Welcome to Tamarindo!, Tamarindo is located on the Pacific Coast in the northern region of the Nicoya Peninsula and without a doubt has the most famous waves in Costa Rica right on its door step. With waves such as Witch's Rock (Playa Naranjo) and Ollies Point (Portrero Grande) made famous by Bruce Browns classic surf movie Endless Summer II surfers have been decending on this town ever since.

The town of Tamarindo is now a surfers paradise and a well developed place to stay, with a thriving and friendly surf community you will find the vibe chilled and relaxed. Tamarindo is an excellent place to stay even in quite a remote setting with long sandy beaches on one side and the dence Costa Rican jungle on the other the town itself is well equiped with various shops, trendy restaurants and bars to keep you occupied out of the surf.

Our famous Surf Camp is located right on the main beach at Tamarindo, perfectly situated within minutes of the ocean which is excellent for our surf school which is one of largest and most well established in Costa Rica. Our camp is visited year round by travelling surfers as well as those trying surfing for the first time, our beach house is for everyone we have a great mix of people and abilities staying with us at any given time. Our Beach house is a surfers dream! we have six fantastic rooms all with different characteristics and all coming with sea views, we have our standard room which is sleeps up to two people and is great value and very popular, the standard room comprises of private bathroom, double bed, free WI FI and air-con. If you are looking for something extra special we have our upper level sunset suite with balcony and great ocean and scenic views, rooms are spacious and sleep up to four people and are equiped with two large double beds, private bathrooms, free WI FI and air-con. Also we have our very own restaurant with a great menu plus live music most nights, but if you fancy just taking it easy and relaxing why not jump into our ' Japoolzi ' Half swimming pool half Jacuzzi!

We feel we have the best and the original surf camp in this region of Costa Rica. Our surf school was the first school to offer a ISA certified learning program! and we have been teaching and applying our skills everyday for nearly ten years! Along side our surf school we have our surf guide team that are hear to take advanced surfers to the best spots, we have our 4X4's and our custom built surf boats to take you daily to spots like Ollies Point and Witch's Rock along with a few other secrets we can't mention!

The beach in Tamarindo itself is perfect for conducting our lessons with consistant swells breaking on a large sandy beach makes it a perfect platform to learn on. We are confident that at our surf club we have something for everybody and no matter what time of year you visit we can take you to the best waves for the time your here, typicaly March - November is prime season for good swells that fire up the classic spots like Ollies Point & Witch's Rock, but year round you will find good waves with swells present from December - April that will also make Tamarindo and spots further south come alive a variety of other local spots work well. With two specalist teams available one for beginner coaching and the other for our Surf Guide tours we have it covered, our prices are the same just choose the package thats right for you.
