Welcome to paradise!, Our base in Santa Teresa is surely every surfer and none surfers dream, Santa Teresa is located in the southern part of the Nicoya peninsula on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica and is a mecca for surfers and travellers alike due to its long white sandy beaches with consistanly good surf and beautiful scenery comprising of an idilic beach scene giving way to dence Costa Rican jungle with a multitude of wildlife within. It is not uncommon to be woken up by half a dozen howler monkeys outside your room first thing in the morning! high up in the palm trees you will find them monitoring you as you sip your morning coffee. It won't take long before the realisation sets in that you really are in the jungle.

Our stunning beach house is as the name suggests... located right on the beach! and it is the perfect setting for the most stress free surf holiday available. The beach house comprises of four main rooms plus one very special penthouse suite located on the second floor which is built into the apex of the roofing offering a much larger lounge area with amazing sea views from your private balcony plus all those little extra touches of luxury you would expect. The Standard rooms comprise of two which have a double bed and two which have twin beds, all rooms are en-suite and come fully air conditioned, also all rooms have refrigerators. With less that 10 seconds walk you can take advantage of our selcetion of hamocks to while the day away if surfing isn't on the agenda!. Complimentary breakfast is served daily in our open fronted dining area with a comprehensive selection of fruits, cerial and traditional eggs. There can be no better way to start the day than sharing your coffee with hosts Tom & Kim on the beach with the pacific ocean right in full view.

Surfing in Santa Teresa is a joy! with 28' water temps boardshorts are definately the order of the day, with over a mile of white sandy beach to choose from you can always find that solitary peak. The swells are typicaly clean until around miday when the sea breeze can turn onshore until early evening when as if by magic it all cleans up again and you can enjoy another epic sunset session to end the day.

The surf along this stretch of coastline can be world class. mainly beach break but with the odd gem of a reef thrown in for good measure in fact one of those reefs lies right outfront just yards from your accommodation, a rocky outcrop just to the right of the main beach lies the apptly named 'Suck Rock' a challenging right hander that under the right conditions can produce a fast barreling wave peeling into the main bay. The surf is consistant and the area of beach right infront of the beach house is perfect for conducting lessons should you require them whilst your with us. Our surf school in Santa Teresa is one of the most established and respected schools with local coaches and coaches from the UK we have a great team, all coaches are suitably qualified and all our UK instructors hold the relevant BSA & Beach Lifeguarding awards.
