Our surf house is based in the cosmopolitan city of Rabat, Rabat is situated in northern Africa around 100km north of Casablanca. The city of Rabat is a hive of activity with a well established and affluant community in certain areas of the city.

The city is more developed than some of the other larger areas of Morocco with its bustling back street markets and huge landmarks paying tribute the history of this part of Morocco. With many surf spots surrounding the town its easy to visit here and just surf these spots but its when you drift off the beaten track that you will find the gems the locals have been hiding for years.

The surf house in Rabat is a large traditional moroccan family home owned by the Atmen's, a well respected local family. The house is of the highest quality and there is no finer place to base yourself during your stay in Rabat. The decor is traditional but modern and no expense has been spared in the presentation and preparation of this wonderful family home. There are 3 rooms which comprise of one room with double bed and the other two rooms have two single beds which can be pushed together if desired. The house comprises of a large luxurious lounge area to relax in as well as a seperate TV lounge, you will also find an exeptional dining area where the most amazing moroccan food will be presented.

Our service in Rabat is all about searching for the best waves for the conditions of the day. To do that we have the services of one of the most experienced surfers from this region. Saber the son of your hosts will use his local knowledge to evaluate the best spots to surf for the day and guide you to some of the areas best surf spots.

Saber is on hand 24/7 to guide you and share his local knowledge with you, once the decision has been made on the best area for the day its time to pack your boards and go searching for some of the special spots that only local knowledge could find you. Once out of the city the choice is endless and the coastline develops fom the beach breaks of the city into some stunning point and reef setups offering a broad range of waves to keep even the most wave hungry surfers happy.
