The Navistar is an ocean going 65 ft sloop which is owned by Carrick Robinson a experienced surfer,skipper and photographer. Carricks mission is to find the best waves possible to surf for the duration of your trip, you get the best waves of your life and a photographer on board to capture those waves and magical moments that will stay with you forever. We have been operating the Navistar since 1999, the navistar was built and launched in 1990 in Australia and converted to Mentawais surf charters in 199. She is powered by a V8 300bhp turbo carged Detroit diesel engine which will go anywhere anytime! She is fully air conditioned throughout the entire vessel to whatever temperature you desire. The accommodation itself sleeps eight passengers comfortably and there are plenty of nice roomy area to hang out all over the boat inside or out, either wax up and jump overboard or just sit back and relax and watch the show of a lifetime.

Also the Navistar has a 14ft dingy to do those super important drop off's and pick up's to and from the large choice of Mentawais surf zones. Aboard you will also find a wide range of fishing equipment to choose from, we have a large variety of rods from spinning rods to handlines, or maybe you fancy taking advantage of our spear fishing selection to catch those big fish for sport or just for fun.
Worked up an appetite? no problem the Navistar serves 3 meals a day, you can sample the local or western cuisine cooked by the chef which is guaranteed to refill you and prepare you for your next surf session. We are sure that whatever your requirements the Navistar will meet you everyneed, this vessel really is superb!
